Rental terms

1. Rental and delivery

The Binnys rents reusable 27-gallon moving bins and optional tote dollies to customers in its eligible Sacramento-area service radius. Delivery and pickup are included within our local service area. A one-time $40 extended delivery fee applies when the accepted drop-off or pickup address is outside that included local area. Galt remains outside our current service area. You must provide an accurate delivery and pickup address, safe and reasonable access, and helpful entry or loading instructions. A reservation is subject to address, schedule, and availability confirmation.

2. Rental period and extensions

Our standard rental periods are one to four weeks. A one-week rental pickup is scheduled seven days after delivery; a two-week rental pickup is scheduled 14 days after delivery. The 20-bin package, nicknamed Small Binny, is $79 for the first week and $30 per additional week. The 40-bin package, nicknamed Big Binny, is $129 for the first week and $45 per additional week. Extensions must be requested before scheduled pickup, are subject to availability, and are not confirmed until approved and paid.

3. Tote dolly, delivery, pickup, and access

A tote dolly may be added to the reservation for $10 each. Coordinate delivery timing in advance and keep the agreed handoff area reasonably safe and accessible. At pickup, bins and tote dollies must be empty, reasonably clean, and accessible at the agreed location. Additional fees may apply if equipment is not ready, is inaccessible, requires unusual service, or needs extraordinary cleaning.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

• Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once, subject to availability.
• After delivery, rental charges are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling with at least 24 hours’ notice is free, subject to availability.

5. Care, permitted use, and weight limit

You are responsible for the equipment from delivery until pickup. Do not overload, alter, misuse, or leave bins or tote dollies in unsafe locations. Each bin has a maximum contents limit of 75 pounds. Do not place hazardous, flammable, explosive, illegal, biohazardous, or otherwise dangerous materials in a bin. Keep walkways, exits, driveways, and emergency access clear.

6. Loss, damage, and other charges

You are responsible for loss, theft, misuse, damage, and extraordinary cleaning. The replacement charge is $10 for each lost or damaged bin and $25 for each lost or damaged tote dolly. These are replacement charges, not rental add-on prices. Fees for approved extensions, cleaning, missing equipment, or extra service will be communicated to you and may be charged to the payment method used for the rental as permitted by law.

7. Liability

The Binnys is not responsible for loss of or damage to your property except to the extent directly caused by our negligence or required by applicable law. You are responsible for safely packing, lifting, moving, loading, and unloading your belongings, and for compliance with property, parking, HOA, building, and local rules.

8. Payment and acceptance

Payment is due at checkout unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing. One active referral code from a participating real estate agent or property manager may be used for $10 off one rental. Referral codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied after payment, and may be deactivated if misused.
