Rental terms

1. Rental, delivery, and pickup

The Binnys rents reusable 27-gallon moving bins, optional extra bins, and tote dollies to eligible Sacramento-area customers, with extra label packs also available. Free local delivery and pickup are included within the current local area. Extended-area fees are calculated from your delivery and pickup addresses at checkout as one combined delivery and pickup fee, based on the farther address's excess road distance beyond the included local area. You must provide accurate addresses, safe and reasonable access, and helpful entry or loading instructions. A reservation remains subject to address, schedule, and availability confirmation.

Address suggestions and address checks may use Google Maps. Use of those Google services is subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for confirming your delivery and pickup addresses.

2. Extended-area delivery and pickup fees

For excess road distance beyond the included local area, the combined delivery and pickup fee is $50 for up to 35 extra miles, $100 for up to 60 extra miles, $150 for up to 120 extra miles, and $200 for up to 180 extra miles. These are delivery and pickup fees, not checkout fees. For an address more than 180 extra road miles beyond the included local area, we calculate the distance first and then contact you to separately agree the delivery and pickup fee. We do not automatically charge a future delivery fee. You pay for the rental now; delivery is pending and is not included in that payment. Delivery is not confirmed until the separate agreement is reached.

3. Rental period and extensions

Our standard rental periods are one to four weeks. A one-week rental pickup is scheduled seven days after delivery; a two-week rental pickup is scheduled 14 days after delivery. Twenty bins are $79 for the first week and $30 per additional week; 40 bins are $129 and $45; 75 bins are $219 and $60; and 100 bins are $279 and $85. Extensions must be requested before scheduled pickup, are subject to availability, and are not confirmed until approved and paid.

4. Extras, tote dollies, pickup, and access

When offered at checkout, packing paper and stretch wrap are optional purchased supplies. Their pack sizes, unit prices, and selected quantities appear before payment. Purchased supplies are delivered with your bins and do not need to be returned. Availability may change; previously accepted purchases remain part of your recorded order.

Extra bins may be added for $4 each for the entire selected rental, not per week. Extra label packs contain 20 labels for $1. Every physical bin in the rental, including extra bins, includes two free labels, and one free marker is included per rental. A tote dolly may be added to the reservation for $10 each. Coordinate delivery timing at least 12 hours in advance and keep the agreed handoff area reasonably safe and accessible. At pickup, bins and tote dollies must be empty, reasonably clean, and accessible at the agreed location. Additional fees may apply if equipment is not ready, is inaccessible, requires unusual service, or needs extraordinary cleaning.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

• Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once, subject to availability.
• After delivery, rental charges are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice is free, subject to availability.

6. Care, permitted use, and weight limit

You are responsible for the equipment from delivery until pickup. Do not overload, alter, misuse, or leave bins or tote dollies in unsafe locations. Each bin has a maximum contents limit of 75 pounds. Do not place hazardous, flammable, explosive, illegal, biohazardous, or otherwise dangerous materials in a bin. Keep walkways, exits, driveways, and emergency access clear.

7. Loss, damage, and other charges

You are responsible for loss, theft, misuse, damage, and extraordinary cleaning. The replacement charge is $10 for each lost or damaged bin and $25 for each lost or damaged tote dolly. These are replacement charges, not rental prices or the $7-per-bin arranged purchase option. Fees for approved extensions, cleaning, missing equipment, or extra service will be communicated to you and may be charged to the payment method used for the rental as permitted by law.

8. Payment and acceptance

Payment is due at checkout unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing. The displayed total has no added tax or checkout fee. A delivery and pickup fee may appear separately when an address is beyond the included local area. One active referral code from a participating real estate agent or property manager may be used for $10 off one rental. Owner-issued codes may instead offer a fixed-dollar or percentage discount on selected products. A delivery fee is discounted only when that code explicitly includes it; a pending fee cannot be discounted or charged before separate agreement. The applicable savings and any expiration are checked before payment. Codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied after payment, and may be deactivated if misused.
